Media Compatibility
Some DVD-R/DVD-RW and CD-R/CD-RW discs may be incompatible due to laser pick up and disc design. CD-R/CD-RW discs must be recorded using CD-DA method for CD audio playback. The DVD player in this TV may not support some MP3/WMA/JPEG/DivX recordings due to differences in recording formats, disc structure, or condition of the disc (use of CD-RW for MP3 files is not recommended).
Loading a Disc
Load the disc in the disc slot with the label side facing forward (toward you). Hold the disc without touching either of its surfaces, align it with the guides, and place it in position. If a disc is inserted during some modes other than DVD mode, it may switch to DVD mode and then playback may be begun automatically.
Screen Angle
You can adjust the viewing angle of the LCD screen 3 degrees forward or for 10 degrees backward from vertical angle. Hold the base of the TV while adjusting the angle.
Wall Mounting
If you decide to wall mount your Toshiba television, always use a UL Listed wall bracket appropriate for the size and weight of the television. The VESA mounting pattern is 100mm x 100mm.
To mount the television onto the wall, the pedestal stand must be removed first. Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat surface, such as your kitchen table. This will allow the stand to protrude over the edge of the table. To avoid damage to the LCD screen, protect the screen of the television with a quilt or blanket. Remove the two screws that secure the stand to the television. Once you have removed the screws, remove the pedestal stand by sliding it away from the television.

Parental Controls
V-chip parental control system – All new Toshiba TVs (13-inch and larger) now include the new V-Chip. This feature allows adults to decide which show ratings are appropriate for their children. The television will then block out the video and audio of any program that has a rating beyond the selected level. Adults can override the system at any time using their secret code.
